About the Author

Jean Claude Bologne is a historian and professor of medieval iconography at ICART in Paris. He has published two dozen works of fiction, dictionaries, and non-fiction, and was awarded a literary prize by the Academie Fran??aise in 1986 (Prix Th?roigne). Elisa de Halleux has a doctorate in Art History and published a book on Renaissance iconography. She lectures frequently in France and the United Kingdom.
