Progetto Italiano junior 2 for English Speakers is the second of three levels of a modern, multimedia Italian course designed for adolescents and pre-adolescents.


It follows the comic-book adventures of five Italian teenagers who share the same interests, encounter the same problems and live the same experiences as their readers. The content of the course is thus both realistic and humourous, sppealing to the different learning needs and styles of teenage students through easily identifiable characters.


The course offers:


* A sensible balance between communicative and grammatical elements, presented in an inductive way.
* Socio-cultural references employing authentic materials such as photos, quizzes etc
* Self-evaluation exercises both in the midlle and at the end of each unit

* Mini projects at the end of each unit which apply the pricipales of task-based learning.
* A comprehensive grammar appendix written in simple English.

Progetto Italiano Junior 2 for English Speakers includes, in a single volume :
A Student's book with 6 teaching units, each divided into 2 sub-units to fascilitate the learning process.
A Workbook with a variety of fun and original activitiesand tests.
1 Audio CD with dialogues and authentic interviews.


Each level comprises:
1 DVD (PAL) with episides of an educational sit-com, Interviews and a Quiz show, all with teenage actors.
A Teacher's Guide, with useful advice and suggestions on how to use the book, the answers to the exercises, and photocopiable material.
Online activities, which expand on the topics covered in the units, and a blog on Italian music.
Interactive Whiteboard Software is also available.
